Give them a certain base number to reach and then when they exceed that number offer them a bonus based on their performance. Special Events Having a special outing if the team as a whole reaches their goal is a good way to get an entire department to work together. Set the goal and when they reach it, offer them a night out on the town or dinner at an upscale restaurant. Or take it a step further with a team travel package. A team reward encourages less competition and more teamwork. Competition However, it’s long been shown that salespeople are pretty competitive people; so offering a competition between the staff can encourage high numbers. Offer rewards for first, second and third place and let your team fight it out to see who comes out on top.
